Datacard Group and Entrust today announced a new company name, logo and corporate brand identity at CARTES Secure Connexions 2014 in Paris, France. Celebrating decades of industry experience and the alignment of two industry leaders, Entrust Datacard debuts as the new corporate brand.
Less than one year after Datacard Group acquired Entrust, Todd Wilkinson, the company’s president and CEO, said the new corporate brand preserves the equity and heritage of each predecessor company, while demonstrating a strong commitment to anticipating and addressing emerging customer challenges.
“The world is changing – it’s more connected, more mobile and more empowered than ever,” said Wilkinson. “Our new brand and corporate identity is a reflection of this evolution and the changing markets we serve. While the company is launching a new corporate identity, it will be preserving the equity of the Datacard and Entrust product portfolio brands. In addition to existing offerings, the company is developing new solutions for consumer, citizen and enterprise applications that combine Datacard and Entrust technologies.
